Equitopia® (www.equitopia.co.uk., www.equitopia.net, www.equitopia.com) provides its services on the following Terms of Service.

Equitopia is an online virtual gaming site involving its own virtual horses, currency, items, names and places. All content, images, coding, scripts and other text are copyrighted to Equitopia. All Equid breeds/names/images are also copyrighted to Equitopia. No content, graphics, images, text, coding or scripts can be copied, duplicated, used, sold, reproduced, edited or claimed without prior written permission of Equitopia. Any infringement will result in immediate legal action.

Players have read and agree to abide the rules of the game at all times. If a player continually breaks the rules, they could have their chat privileges confiscated, have their account frozen, or in serious cases, their account banned and future use of the site refused.

Equitopia employs moderators, junior moderators and mentors to ensure the game is kept safe, fun and fair. These are voluntary positions given to players who have proved to be helpful, impartial and responsible. Please respect the moderators and their decisions at all times. Harassing or sending "hate" mail to moderators will not be tolerated.

Equitopia is committed to providing a safe environment for all its players and is intended for ages 13 years and over. On registration, by clicking the checkbox you are verifying your age to be 13 years or over. Equitopia cannot be held responsible for players falsely verifying their age and any registered member determined to be under the age of 13 will be immediately deleted and future use of the site refused.

It is the parent/guardian’s sole responsibility to determine if Equitopia is appropriate for their child to play.

When using any services provided by Equitopia that require information, such as registering, the player agrees to provide true, accurate and complete information. If any information is found to be untrue or inaccurate, Equitopia has the right to freeze the players account whilst investigations are carried out. If found guilty of this, the player may be banned and refusal of the future use of the game/services.

Devices, bots, programs, short-cuts or add-ons that automate or enhance gameplay and essentially allow an unfair advantage strictly forbidden to be used on Equitopia. This is classed as cheating and is extremely unfair on players who play the game like it should be played. Any player found to be using devices, bots, programs, short-cuts or add-ons of this kind face an in-game punishment or frozen account and/or a possible, but likely ban.

Players agree to not use Equitopia to upload, post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, obscene or libellous. Additionally, users will not upload, post, transmit, or make available any content that is stolen, traced, copied, plagiarised or infringes material not copyrighted to him/her. Failure to comply may result in refusal of the future use of the game/services. Additionally, players upload/post writing and artwork at their own risk, Equitopia cannot be held reponsible for protecting a players copyrights.

Players are not allowed to advertise or offer any kind of free or paid service or job that is not directly linked to Equitopian gameplay. This includes, programming, coding, art, design etc. There are plenty of forums and sites for advertising services of this kind, Equitopia is not the place.

Players are only allowed ONE account. Players found to have more than one account will have all accounts frozen and possibly banned from future use of the site. If a family member has an account on Equitopia and you use/share the same computer, you MUST contact an administrator within 7 days of registering to inform them of this. Failure to do so will result in a multiple account violation and both/all accounts will be frozen.

Players may delete their account and create a new one at any point; however, the original account MUST be deleted before registering a new one. This can be done by contacting an administrator who will inform you when the deletion of your old account will take place in order for you to create a new one. No Equids, items or money can be carried over from an old account to a new one. Failure to do this may cause the admin staff to view a double account violation, which may result in the player being fined and/or their account frozen.

Equitopia does not allow, endorse or support account sharing. Please be aware that IP addresses are logged when visiting this site and any accounts that are shown to be linked through an IP will be frozen. Security of the players account is solely their responsibility.

Equitopia will not reimburse virtual items, Equids or money etc. to individuals who claim they have been "stolen".

If a player does believe their account has been hacked, they must report it immediately and give as much as information as possible. The admin team will then investigate the claim and respond accordingly.

Display names must not be offensive or break any of the rules/terms of the game. Additionally, no inclusion or advertising of other games or sites in your display name. We have an Other Sites forum to post adverts for other games/sites, your display name is not the place to do it! Any display name that is the aforementioned will be edited.

All bugs or glitches to be reported immediately via the forum. Any player found abusing system glitches or bugs for their own gain will face an in-game fine and/or their account frozen until further notice.

Equitopia cannot be held liable for any data loss or harm to your computer or hardware while accessing this site. The use of Equitopia and its services are done solely at the risk of the player.

Equitopia reserves the right to close, sell or otherwise disown the site at any time, with or without notice, permanently or temporarily. Additionally, the site may become inaccessible for reasons such as gliche fixing or updating content. This can be done at any time, for any duration with or without notice, temporarily or permanently.

Equitopia also reserves the right to confiscate, delete, remove, change or update any virtual items, Equids, mini-games and graphics from the game with or without notice, temporarily or permanently.

The use of Equitopia signifies that you, the player, has read, understood and agreed to the above Terms of Service.

Equitopia reserves the right to modify, delete or add content to these Terms of Service at any time with or without prior notification/explanation. It is the player's responsibility to regularly check these Terms of Service. If a player does not agree or accept the above Terms of Service, it is recommended they leave this site immediately.
